Groundbreaking - An official groundbreaking ceremony was planned on May 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
Details - The new Casino is located along Hwy 87. It is be 20,000 sq. ft. and houses approximately 350 machines. Signs are developed and are on display at the Casino entrance.

Joe Gervais, Browning, MT hit $85,158.70 on one of the Bear Paw Casino Class II Rocket dime games on May 30, 2006. This is the largest gaming jackpot hit in north central Montana on a gaming machine ever.

John “Chance” Houle, chairman of the Chippewa Cree Tribe stated, “I would like to congratulate Joe for hitting this large jackpot. We treat our visitors from Browning well as attested by the fact that one of his neighbors from Browning won a 2007 Diesel truck at our roping event last week.”

He further stated, “this is just one example of a jackpot that can be hit at Bear Paw Casino.
